Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 28, 2026

This Refund Policy governs the rules and procedures for refunds, cancellations, and subscription changes. By subscribing to WikiSage, you agree to these terms.

1

Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

All transactions, billing, and refunds for WikiSage are securely handled by our authorized Merchant of Record (MoR). When you upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, the MoR acts as the official seller of the service. Any approved refunds will be processed by our MoR and credited exclusively back to the original payment method used during checkout. As of the Effective Date, our exclusive MoR is PayPro Global. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller(s): PayPro Global.

2

Monthly Subscription

WikiSage is billed on a monthly, auto-renewing subscription basis.

  • Billing Cycle: You are billed in advance on the same day each month based on your initial subscription date.
  • Refund Window: In accordance with our Merchant of Record's policies and applicable consumer protection laws, we offer a 14-day refund window for initial purchases. If you are not satisfied with your Standard or Premium subscription, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of your initial purchase date.
  • Refund Contact: To request a refund within this 14-day window, please email us at billing@wikisage.io with your Slack Workspace ID and the email address used for the purchase. We will initiate the refund request with our MoR on your behalf.
3

General Refund Rules (After 14 Days)

Following the expiration of the initial 14-day window described in Section 2, all subscription fees are strictly non-refundable.

  • Non-Refundable Items: Because WikiSage provides ongoing access to proprietary digital services, cloud infrastructure, and third-party AI processing resources, we do not offer refunds or credits for:
  • Partial months of service.
  • Periods where your Slack workspace was inactive or you did not use the App.
  • Accidental subscriptions not canceled prior to the renewal date.
  • Dissatisfaction due to AI-generated output quality (as AI is probabilistic in nature).
4

Exceptions and Discretionary Refunds

While subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days, we want you to have a great experience with WikiSage. We may grant a refund or account credit, at our sole discretion, under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: If you are accidentally charged twice or charged after you have successfully canceled your subscription (provided you have proof of cancellation).
  • Major Technical Failures: If a critical bug or prolonged outage on our end prevents you from using the core features of your paid plan for a significant continuous period, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue.

To request an exception under this section, please contact us at billing@wikisage.io within thirty (30) days of the disputed charge.

5

Subscription Cancellations

WikiSage is billed on a monthly, auto-renewing subscription basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly via the WikiSage Home Tab in your Slack workspace. Canceling your subscription prevents any future charges. You will continue to have access to your paid features until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days within an active billing cycle.

6

Plan Changes (Upgrades and Downgrades)

How plan changes affect your billing and refund eligibility.

  • Upgrades: If you upgrade from the Standard to the Premium plan mid-month, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle, and your new rate will apply at the next renewal.
  • Downgrades: If you downgrade from Premium to Standard, the new rate will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No prorated refunds will be issued for downgrades mid-month.
7

EU/UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you typically have a statutory right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days (the 'cooling-off period').

  • Waiver of Right: This statutory right is fully supported and satisfied by our 14-Day Initial Refund Window described in Section 2 of this policy.
  • B2B Exception: Business (B2B) users to whom the statutory consumer right of withdrawal may not legally apply, we still extend this 14-day refund window as a courtesy under our standard terms.
8

Processing Time

If a refund is approved by our team, it will be initiated immediately through our Merchant of Record. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your PayPal account or on the card associated with your Apple Pay / Google Pay account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
